Programs, Awards, and Volunteer Work
1st Place Northern Plains Area Intern Project Winner
Throughout my internship, at Sherwin Williams I periodically worked on a project to improve employee engagement. The final idea was a two pillared approach that consisted of Employee Benefit Consultation ("EBC"), which was a formal meeting with new employees to educate them on their benefits, and "Pulse" surveys that would be done through the existing time system and that would track employee moods and concerns over time.
This program is one of the most influential experiences I have had. In this program, I mentored freshmen and helped them deal with some of lifes challenges through activities and acted out scenarios.
